As Asians living in Copenhagen, we often looked for brunch that felt a little more like home — something beyond the usual pastries, yogurt bowls, and cheese buns. When we couldn’t find it, we decided to create it.

At SSAM Day, you’ll find dishes like kimchi fried rice with silky eggs, avocado, bacon, and lemon — bold, comforting, and unexpectedly perfect for late mornings. Our cream pasta is made with fermented garlic leaves and topped with grilled samgyeopsal. Or try our Hanjip sourdough, baked fresh to order and layered with tofu-cashew cream, pickled carrot, and avocado.

The Morning Calm Bibimbap is our fully vegan option — a vibrant bowl of warm rice, marinated bean sprouts, spinach, crispy tofu, lotus root, grilled mushrooms, and a Korean-style spicy sauce, finished with a soft vegetable purée. It’s a different kind of brunch. We hope you’ll come try it.
